Plenty of safes are sold as 'security safes' without ever being independently tested. The Phoenix Fortress SS1450 Series is tested to the EN14450 European standard, which gives you a certified baseline rather than just a manufacturer's claim.
What EN14450 covers
EN14450 is the standard typically used for safes designed to protect against opportunist, rather than professional, forced attack - making it a sensible middle ground for household valuables and small business cash that doesn't need full Grade-rated protection but still benefits from independent certification.
Key and electronic options
The Fortress range is available in both key-locking and electronic keypad versions, across four sizes (SS1451 through SS1455), so you can match the footprint to your space and the lock type to how you want to access it day to day.
Good for
- Home offices and bedrooms storing passports, documents and jewellery
- Small retail or hospitality businesses with modest overnight cash
- Anyone upgrading from an uncertified safe to one with a recognised test standard
