Can items be retrieved once deposited?
Our deposit safes use a baffle plate or anti-fish device specifically to stop deposited cash being retrieved back out through the slot — this is a deliberate security feature, not a design flaw. Retrieval requires opening the main safe with the appropriate key or code.
What's the difference between a day deposit safe and a standard deposit safe?
Day deposit safes (like our Cashier Day Deposit range) are designed for frequent, low-risk deposits during trading hours. Higher-rated deposit safes (like our Diamond Deposit range) are built for larger cash volumes with full EN1143 security grading.
Do deposit safes need to be fixed to the floor?
Yes, all our deposit safes are ready-prepared for floor fixing with bolts supplied, which is standard practice for cash-handling security.
